Tracking report by infas and Motiontag
Corona is massively changing mobility in Germany. This was to be expected, but the effects of the pandemic are often different in detail than assumed. This is shown by an initial measurement by infas and Motiontag, which is based on the smartphone-based collection of GPS movement data.

E-bike sales again increased significantly

The bicycle market has stabilized at a good level, and e-bike sales are growing. The Bicycle Industry Association estimates that around 920,000 pedelecs were sold through retailers in the first half of 2019. Double-digit growth of around 12 percent is expected for the year as a whole.
