Permanent counting points for bicycle traffic
In addition to the classic bicycle traffic counts, there are 13 permanent bicycle counters in the NRW state capital of Düsseldorf. On Mannesmannufer alone, 13 percent more cyclists were registered than in 2017, more than ever before. A total of 6.6 percent more cyclists were registered than in 2017.

Most dynamically growing mode of transport
In 2018, almost 60 percent more cyclists were counted on the Elbe bridges than in 2009. In 2009, 22,428 cyclists were registered on Dresden's inner-city bridges between six and eight o'clock on the day of the count, compared with 35,694 cyclists in 14 hours in 2018.
