VCD's youth campaign "FahrRad!" awarded

VCD stands for "Verkehrsclub Deutschland", an ecological orientated transportation club.

For the seventh consecutive time the campaign "FahrRad! Fürs Klima auf Tour" [Bike for the Climate] succeeded: Between March and July 2013 more than 4.550 young people between 12 and 18 years old took the bike on their ways to school, to sports, and to meet friends. In 2013 they pedalled about 790,000 km which corresponds to 20 times round-the-world.
