Infrastructure Minister François Bausch presents signposts for cycling in Luxembourg

On 12 October 2016, François Bausch presented Luxembourgs's new signpost concept for cycling in Useldingen which focuses on everyday mobility as well as on bicycle tourism.

The aim of the project is to direct the cyclist, who for example arrives by train at a station to the nearest bicycle path and to communicate the necessary information to the cyclist at each junction.

According to this new signposting concept, the national cycle network will be annually marked with about 1,000 new signs. These provide cyclists with valuable and practical information, such as connections to public transport, sections of the route in mixed traffic or tourist routes.
