Stuttgart cycling barometer shows significant increase in urban bicycle traffic

In Stuttgart there are two fixed automatic bicycle counters. The first permanent bicycle counter was set up on 1 July 2012 on the König-Karls-Brücke in Bad Cannstatt on the main cycle route 1. Another bicycle counter, also on the main cycle route 1, is located in Stuttgart-Süd on Böblinger Straße. The cyclists have been counted here since 10 December 2013. In the future, there will be more permanent bicycle counters that will record cyclists on important cycle routes.
