Germany: accidents on German roads in 2017
In 2017, 382 (2016 = 393) cyclists died on Germany's roads and more than 79,000 were injured. A total of 3,180 people were killed in traffic accidents in Germany. According to MiD, the number of kilometres travelled by cyclists has increased by 27 percent since 2008, while the proportion of cyclists killed in road traffic has remained constant.
