In the future, bicycle traffic will be coordinated even more closely across political groups. The establishment of the new working group places the importance of bicycles for modern and urban mobility in Germany in the political spotlight. The " Parliamentary Circle on Cycling " is to create the conditions for this.
Parked roads represent a safety risk. Parking offender block bicycle lanes, disabled parking spaces, delivery and fire brigade access roads. The brochure gives a concise six-page summary of all the facts about "stationary traffic" and thus offers a good basis for argumentation in the discourse about a fairer distribution of public space in our cities.
Over the next three years, the use of load wheels will be investigated in Greifswald. The Institute of Geography and Geology at the University of Greifswald will be responsible for the scientific analyses. The city administration accompanies the project, which takes place within the framework of the EU-funded project CoBiUM-Cargo bikes in urban mobility, as a pilot city.
