To achieve the 600,000 bicycle parking spaces needed nationwide by 2025, 100,000 new parking spaces will be created at stations that serve as important public transport hubs or at stations where many apartments are being built in the vicinity, in high-traffic areas in the form of innovative automatic parking systems.

Agreement reached in collective bargaining for public sector employees
In the course of their collective bargaining negotiations, employers' associations and trade unions have agreed that in future employees of local authorities will also be able to obtain company bicycles and company pedelecs by way of salary conversion. The new arrangement affects around 1.5 million employees.
